Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his side will be looking to exact revenge when they square off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this weekend
Crystal Palace prepare to welcome Liverpool to Selhurst Park on Sunday and both sides will be desperate for the victory heading into the clash.
Palace are officially the worst team in the Premier League since the turn of the year but they have had the better of Liverpool in recent times, having claimed three victories in the last four encounters between the two sides and the Eagles should head into the clash on Sunday with some confidence.
Klopp wants revenge over Palace
During the corresponding fixture, Palace snatched a victory over Liverpool at Anfield through a late Scott Dann goal and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had admitted after the game that he couldn’t “get the f**king loss to Palace” out of his mind.
Klopp still seems to be reeling from the Palace defeat back in November and has now stated that his side are keen on avenging the defeat at Selhurst Park this weekend.
The 48-year old said, “I didn’t forget the first game. We should not have lost it. We have to take points back.Anger in a sport is good.
“Against Crystal Palace, there is a reason to strike back. There are a lot of reasons to be angry. Crystal Palace are a really physical side. They will give you, in the first two minutes, 500 reasons to be angry.”
