Premier League side Crystal Palace are eyeing a big money move for Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to reports from the Sun
After starting the campaign in brilliant fashion, Crystal Palace have endured a meek end to the season and have disappointingly finished in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
While Palace still have the FA Cup Final to look forward to, manager Alan Pardew will surely have to strengthen his squad over the summer in order to avoid the continuation of their terrible form in the Premier League.
A number of players have been linked with a move to Palace over the past few weeks and now according to reports emerging out of England, it has been claimed that the Eagles are considering a move for Swansea City star Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson being courted by Palace
Sigurdsson has played a starring role for Swansea this season, scoring 11 goals in 36 appearances and his performances have caught the attention of a number of clubs.
Pardew is also said to be a keen admirer of the 26-year-old’s abilities and the Sun claim that the Eagles’ boss is currently considering a move for the £15million rated Icelandic international.
Palace will surely not find it easy to secure the services of Sigurdsson though as the likes of Leicester City, Borussia Dortmund, Hertha Berlin and Fiorentina are all said to be interested as well.
