Crystal Palace are plotting a move for Cardiff defender Bruno Ecuele Manga, according to reports emerging from L’Équipe
It is no secret that Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will be looking to strengthen his squad during the summer and bringing in a new defender will surely be a priority for the 54-year-old.
Damien Delaney is entering the twilight of his career while the future of Scott Dann remains uncertain and as a result, Pardew is scouring the market in his search for a centre back.
A host of names have been mentioned as targets for Palace over the past few weeks and now according to reports, it has been claimed that the Eagles are eyeing a swoop for Cardiff defender Bruno Ecuele Manga.
Manga wanted by Palace
Manga joined Cardiff in the summer of 2014 for a sizeable £4million and while the 27-year-old started very brightly, a host of injuries hampered his debut season.
Having managed to successfully return to full fitness in December, Manga proved to be crucial in helping the Bluebirds to a fine second half of the season during the current campaign.
Now Manga is said to be attracting the interest from a number of clubs and it is believed that Palace will also be considering a move for the Gabonese international this summer.
