Crystal Palace stars provide encouraging pre-season update

The likes of Wilfried Zaha, Martin Kelly, Joel Ward and Jason Puncheon all have taken to social media websites to provide an update regarding Crystal Palace’s pre-season preparations

Crystal Palace will be heading to the United States and then Canada for their pre-season friendly schedule next week and there is certainly a lot of optimism surrounding the Eagles ahead of the tour.

Palace will be squaring off against Philadelphia Union on July 13th, FC Cincinnati on July 16th and finally Vancouver Whitecaps on July 19th before returning to England and the trip will surely be a good preparation for Alan Pardew’s men.

Zaha keeps fans updated regarding pre-season

Palace have gone on to announce their 25-man squad for the tour on their official website and new signings James Tomkins and Andros Townsend have both been included.

The squad – Julian Speroni, Alex McCarthy, Kleton Perntreou, Joel Ward, Martin Kelly, Pape Souare, Zeki Fryers, Damien Delaney, Scott Dann, James Tomkins, Luke Croll, Mile Jedinak, James McArthur, Jordon Mutch, Hiram Boateng, Wilfried Zaha, Andros Townsend, Jason Puncheon, Yannick Bolasie, Bakary Sako, Chung-yong Lee, Sullay Kaikai, Connor Wickham, Fraizer Campbell, Freddie Ladapo.

For the time being, the Palace players are currently training hard in England in preparation for the tour and a number of the Eagles’ stars have taken to social media websites to keep the fans abreast regarding the current on-goings in training.
